Winter is here. Temperatures have dipped below 70 and nigh continuous rain falls. I have heard that this is normal wintry weather in Taiwan. The temperatures may fall more, but the coldness that wracks your bones comes from the water. Everything is wet. You are unable to keep heat. On top of this Taiwan is notorious for a lack of insulation in their buildings and they provide no central heating. This makes perfect sense for a majority of the year as temperatures spike well past 90 degrees with high humidity. I learn now that this does not help you for the three, or so, months of chill.
